Tuna Pasta Bake

A family favourite, this tasty and filling supper is ready in 45 minutes and makes the perfect comfort food with none of the guilt.
400g wholemeal pasta shapes (we used Fusilli)
2x 160g tins tuna in water, drained
100g of spinach
1 can sweetcorn, drained
75g wholemeal breadcrumbs
1 x 500ml jar of tomato sauce
100g 10% fat mozzarella cheese, grated or cut into small pieces
Warm the oven to 200C (180C for a fan oven) .
Cook the pasta in a large pan (following the pack instructions) until cooked but still firm - “al dente”.
Add the spinach to the pan of pasta for the last minute and allow to wilt.
Drain and transfer the pasta and spinach to a large baking dish.
Mix in the tuna, sweetcorn and tomato sauce and season with black pepper.
Top with the mozzarella and finally with the breadcrumbs.
Bake for at least 30 minutes or until bubbling.
Try using other vegetables favourites including peas, mixed vegetables, broccoli florets, asparagus tips, mushrooms or bell peppers
