Congratulations to all our V40 Runners!

Congratulations to all our V40 Runners!

Congratulations to all our V40 Runners who completed the first ever Virtual London Marathon at the weekend.

Our HEART UK team of 11 were part of the 45,000 runners up and down the UK and across the world taking part! All the runners had 23 hours, 59 mins and 59 seconds to complete the 26.2 miles their way.

Simone, pictured above tells us why she ran for HEART UK "As a ward sister working with acute Cardiac patients, this charity means a lot to not only myself but also my patients and their relatives so it was a great chance to show our appreciation and fundraise for Heart UK. Hopefully I will get to run the actual VLM one day, but this day was also an amazing one as it’s not everyday you run 26.2 miles”

So far, the team have raised over £17,000, which will help HEART UK continue to provide their vital services during this difficult time. If you are feeling inspired to run for HEART UK and the London marathon is on your bucket list, register your interest for 2021 by emailing fundraising@heartuk.org.uk for more information.
