Understanding your Cholesterol Video

Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol, which can lead to heart disease. Our aim is for people to know and understand their cholesterol and other blood fat (lipid) levels and take the appropriate action.

We have created this video to help explain all about cholesterol and triglycerides, how to understand your test results and the steps you can take to help reduce your levels.

We also have a version of this video with subtitles here

This animation was supported by an educational grant provided by Amarin and Daiichi Sankyo in 2023. Neither company have had any input to its creation.  HEART UK retain full control over the content, medical accuracy, balance and ethical integrity of the animation.
