Congratulations, Teamredlaces!

As one of the two Official Charities for the Flora London Marathon 2008, our fantastic Teamredlaces numbered more than 400, flooding the course with Teamredlaces vests.  Many of our runners reached the Finish in super fast times, scoring personal bests and surprising even themselves.  Every runner was a fantastic ambassador for H·E·A·R·T UK, raising much needed funds in addition to vital awareness about inherited high cholesterol (IHC) and early cardiovascular disease.  
 
For many it was a “once in a lifetime” challenge whilst others feel the need to run again and again!  We have the utmost admiration and praise for all our runners – they have become passionate about the cause and are motivated by knowing that they can make a difference to people’s lives. We salute them all – they are real Stars!

Applications online for ballot places are possible from 12noon on the 13th April 2008 at the Flora London Marathon site: www.london-marathon.co.uk We do ask all potential Teamredlaces members also to try to get their own place in the ballot. That way we can create a bigger team on the day.
