The Teamredlaces Challenge is designed to encourage people to get active for heart health, to spread the redlaces message and raise vital funds for the work of HEART UK. We need to let as many people as possible know about the dangers of inherited high cholesterol (IHC) in order to save lives and keep young hearts running.
We use our redlaces to:
•
Represent a healthy cardiovascular system
•
Encourage people to lace up and get active to improve and maintain heart health
•
Direct people to examine their own family heart history and recognise when they might be at risk
Please
download the leaflet for more information about the Teamredlaces Challenge and ideas on the type of event you might like to organise. Once you have registered your event with us, you will receive your Teamredlaces Challenge pack and every one of your event participants will be given a pair of redlaces to wear.
We desperately need to spread the redlaces message far and wide and with your help we can reach many more people who are still unknowingly at risk. Once diagnosed, the condition is relatively easy to treat with lifestyle changes, diet, exercise and medication, so raising awareness really is the key to the whole process.
So, if you think you can persuade your contacts to "thread 'em red" and join the Teamredlaces Challenge, then please contact us today on 0845 873 9597 or complete our
online enquiry form to receive more information.
Together we can keep young hearts running!
