Liverpool, city of Culture in 2008, Year of Environment in 2009, home to the world famous Beatles and to premier football clubs Liverpool and Everton F.C. Liverpool is a multi-cultural, contemporary, vibrant and historic city with over 800 years of maritime history.

The location for the 23rd annual conference is Liverpool Hope University, located in Childwall, just 4 miles from Liverpool city centre and the first to be hosted by new HEART UK chairman - Dr Alan Rees.
