| Amendments to registration: Any amendments must be submitted, in writing, to the conference secretariat. No charge will be made for amendments to registration for name changes or substitutions. Loss and Liability: The Conference Secretariat (Wheldon Events), HEART UK and all venues used during the 22nd HEART UK Annual Conference (from 25-27 June 2008) are exempt from and will not be held liable for the loss or damage of personal items, personal injury, accident, delay, cancellation resulting from attendance at the meeting. The Conference Secretariat and HEART UK are exempt from and will not be held liable for the cancellation of the conference for reasons outside of their control. In this event, HEART UK will make every effort to refund registration fees but this cannot be guaranteed. The Secretariat strongly recommend that personal insurance is taken out to cover these eventualities. Cancellations: Notification of cancellation must be sent, in writing, to the meeting secretariat. Cancellations will be accepted until Friday 2 May after which NO refunds can be made. Insurance: The Conference Secretariat recommends that all attendees take out personal travel and health insurance for their trip. |
